Ben Carson in 2016 vs the last 4 years of Trump

Now Trump sure "tore down" Ben Carson during the Republican nomination debates.  The liberals also really made fun of Carson as well.  Even though Caron is a highly intelligent and skilled M.D. neurosurgeon, having accomplished many amazing/impossible brain surgeries.

Trump on the other hand has paid off women who he slept with outside of marriage, and has been recorded saying very misogynistic and bad things.  He's a corrupt businessman according to what I have read he has done to his business contacts.  His tweets as president stirred up a lot of hate and division in this country.  I don't know if it will ever recover actually.

He did support conservative policies, supreme court picks, religious freedom and boosting the economy with America First type of agenda which is generally all good.   Compared to a green liberal agenda, I also like a conservative balance of using petroleum tech for the time being while we invest in and transition to Green/Renewable tech, instead of unreasonable extreme types of transitions.

But overall the country is highly damaged by Trumps words/tweets, not so much his policies/agenda/executive orders or past bad behavior.  He stirred up so much division is hard to believe it was really happening, and I'm glad that its finally over.  It was a very horrible 4 years for many reasons.

However, now seeing Biden's liberal anti-religious agenda (I could care less about a green energy movement, I like electric cars and solar panels) with his executive orders in the first months or so of his presidency, I actually think in many ways, from a Christian moderate conservative perspective, we would be better off if Trump won 2020.

Yes I said that.  Not at all denying all the bad and division that we had.  But I say this to bring up this point:

Many liberals hated Trump so much, and even conservatives did not like Trump or also even hated him.  But Trump was the Republican nominee among several other candidates.  How did Trump get seen as the best option for republicans???  But remember liberals made fun of Ben Carson, such as on Saturday Night Live, and Trump also tore him down during debates, etc.

What bothers me is that this country needs a good Black, Christian based, humble, kind, scientifically intelligent, evolution-denying, from poverty childhood, empathetic, moderate conservative as president of this country as a GOOD EXAMPLE of a black president who can actually demonstrate the value of such black conservative-Christian historical figures as Martin Luther King Jr. and the like.  But both Trump and Liberals tore Ben Carson down so much he didn't have a chance.

But would Ben Carson have been a better president from 2016 to 2020???  I think a majority of liberals and conservatives would agree that if we could redo 2016-2020 presidency again (with a Republican), that they would prefer Carson over Trump.  What do you think?  Would our country be better off today if Carson had been president from 2016 to 2020 versus Trump?

Why do better options for presidents never make it???
